GNSS in future transport, drones and RHINOS days
IGAW 2017 (International GNSS Advances Workshop) is dedicated to the evolution of satellite navigation technology and the new opportunities provided by the availability of multiple constellations (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou).
A highly prized scientific initiative, the Workshop aims to explore, on the basis of current knowledge, future prospects of GNSS technology development and applications: IGAGW2017 is opened to public institutions, private companies, research centres and Universities.
The fourth edition of the Workshop will take place in Rome on June 20 -22 2017.
IGAW2017 will also host RHINOS (Railway High Integrity Navigation Overlay System) Project Dissemination Workshop.
RHINOS is European SPACE project funded under H2020 framework programme for R&D by GSA (European Global Navigation Satellite Agency).
The project intends to study and define common standards for the use of GNSS in Rail Train Control Systems at a worldwide level. The Project is led by RadioLabs Consortium. Among the other members, Ansaldo STS, University of Stanford, DLR, University of Nottingham and Sogei.
During the RHINOS Dissemination Workshop, relevant achieved results will be presented and new ideas for paving the way for automotive applications discussed.
IGAW 2017 is organised and hosted by Sogei, a company always at the forefront of research and development activities in the delivery and use of geo-referenced data and services, as well as GNSS High Precision applications and SDR technologies, as part of its contribution to the dissemination of innovation and scientific culture.

The coming years will witness a major surge in the number of satellite constellations, along with an increase in their interoperability, that are dedicated to satellite navigation
IGAW 2017 was a three-days workshop, each day divided into a number of sessions.
