As declared by the Revenue Agency, "the new web service has been launched by which to request duplicate health and tax code cards (if, for instance, a citizen does not have a health card because they are not covered by the national health service).
From today, by going to the Revenue Agency website - www.agenziaentrate.gov.it - a copy of the card can be obtained if it has been stolen or lost or if it has worn and become illegible.
Once past the security controls, (the correctness and accuracy of the data disclosed compared to that in the Agency database), the card is sent directly to the address of the party requesting it, as stated on the Tax Register."
