"Geopoi 2.0", the new cartographic framework developed entirely by the R&D unit, was presented at Sogei's headquarters.
Specifically, the most recent Applied Research activities in the Visual Programming by Graphical Widget sector were demonstrated in a multi-browser environment. The demonstration showed how to customise various functions featured in the current version compared with the classic Geopoi version. Departments will be able to generate Location Intelligence applications to support their own business intelligence activities and/or applications to optimise the localisation attributes that can take tangible form in a myriad of application classes (monitoring territorial events, human workflow and chain issues, territorial highlighting of statistical phenomena, functional clusters of territorial data, etc.).
Sogei's services to its institutional clients are therefore improved since clients can now manage customisation in-house, even starting with fast prototyping activities. Geopoi customisations run natively in multi-browser environments (chrome, explorer, firefox, opera, safari, etc.) and can therefore be hosted on existing web applications including the most important portals developed by Sogei for the Tax Agencies.
